Then maybe you need to stop guessing at what lawyers think and crack open a dictionary. Elite is just a nother relative comparative term, like better and best. It is clear the time period in reference here is the present, so SFP saying Vilma is elite suggests he thinks he's top 3 - 5 at the position today.

absolutely no way do the saints draft a cornerback in the first round. ESPECIALLY after drafting one in the second round just last year. and especially since we passed on DRC as well..
you can book that. i like kiper and actually prefer him over the mcshay guy who is simply a follower.. but he has that pick wrong. i wouldn't mind a corner.. i really wanted rodgers-cromartie last season more than anyone.. i definitely don't see the saints taking a cb first round.. i'd say the odds are more in favor the saints go rb first round than cb.. i prefer dropping down a few spots and going OLB..

I think you're the only person to use the term "elite" to apply strictly to all time greats. There are 4 elite teams in the NBA right now, none necessarily are on par with some of those great Bulls/Lakers/Celtics teams.

i understand what elite means.
i just dont throw that out term out there. i would say peyton manning and tom brady are elite QB's. as in they are the top players of where there at there is no debating whether or not they will be in the hall of fame. i would say the the same about ray lewis at LB or troy polamalu at S. i wouldnt call vilma that yet, he has a chance to be. just as patrick willis does. jesus rantards. go debate whether hatch shouldve stayed or not.
