not crying, stating my opinion as you are.

I just find it hilarious that an SEC fan is berating another over "selling one's soul" for the sack of a sports team.

Obviously not all fans are alike.

vs Chicago

"Drew Brees hit Marques Colston for an 11-yard touchdown pass with just over 3 minutes left in regulation to give New Orleans its first lead at 24-21.

Kyle Orton responded by leading the Bears on a tying drive, setting up overtime between the 7-6 teams.

The Bears won the coin toss, and got another big break when the Saints' Roman Harper interfered with Devin Hester on a deep pass down the middle to set Chicago up at the 15. After Orton stumbled back and put the ball in the middle of the field, Gould knocked the kick through the uprights."

vs Washington

"The big play came with 3:29 left and the Redskins trailing 24-22. Campbell avoided the rush, stepped forward and hit Moss in stride, the receiver one step ahead of rookie cornerback Tracy Porter. Zorn had chided Campbell for failing to make a similar play against the Giants, costing the team a potential touchdown.

This time, Moss, the secondary target on the play, didn't slow down as he did against the Giants. Campbell spotted him and let the ball fly. Lesson learned all around."

AIH, i hunt. and its different because i eat what i kill. i cook with it. i dont shoot animals and throw them away. i dont sit in a heated deer blind over a baited field. which is illegal where i hunt anyway. i dont bet on two animals fighting each other and then kill them to only dispose of them if they dont win said fight here's something i said about it earlier

"its not vicks second chance, its about his eight or so.

its not just that he fought dogs.
he bank rolled a masive dog fighting operation for SEVEN years(illegal)
lied straight to goodel's face
he lied to federal authorities(illegal)
he had the hidden compartment fiasco
the ron mexico incident
the flipping off of fans
failed a drug test

the dude fricked up a lot, not just the dog fighting. he knew damn good and well what he was doing by bank rolling the whole thing. stallworth didnt go out and say im gonna get fricked up and hit someone and kill them. police reports for stallworth include other witnesses saying the man ran infront of his car.stallworth was an error in judgement not a pre-meditated act like vick. think about this mr kent(and im not trying to single you out), if you or i or anyone else was charged with this sort of felony would we be able to get a job with a good company, no. so why should vick be allowed to play in the most elite professional sports organization in the world?"

As someone who's "life doesnt revolve around LSU or the Saints", i dont see why you would care so much about who's on the team. Id think youd tune in on Sat and Sun. and be done with it for the rest of the week.

These guys arent school teachers or doctors. They bash their heads into each other for 3 hours once a week. They should serve their punishments for their crimes, and after that be free to do what they want within the law.

Nobody had a problem when Vick said he would work construction. They applauded him for it.

Do athletes sit on higher moral ground than construction workers?
No.

What all this comes down to is money. People dont like the fact that these guys make the money that they make

Anyone that fights dogs in a controlled, forced death sentence type of torture/sport just for fun, is basically a piece of shiat i dont want on any team i support. Btw he fights dogs because he gets something out of it to watch one kill or maim the other. Its not for money--It sure as frick isnt a sport. You have to have a very small soul in order to do everything he was accused of. We dont need that crap in our locker room. Someone should make a voodoo doll of him and go to town on it. Or we cud put him in a ring kinda like mad max thunder dome and make him run the wildcat formation around the cage and see if he lives and we can all bet on it

How about Alge Crumpler and Roddy White? Roddy White all of a sudden is a legite receiving threat.

New Orleans is in front of that team, the CITY I love has enough bad publicity without that added to it.

Of course they do. You see kids or adults wearing construction hats on the streets in support of their favorite construction worker?

I could give a crap what they make. Better get it while you can as a player so that's not it for ME. Might be for some though, granted.

My bad...here's Denver

vs Denver

"Trailing 34-32 late in the fourth quarter, Brees and Bush got one more chance when cornerback Jason David scooped up Tony Scheffler's fumble at the New Orleans 5-yard line with 5:33 remaining.

The Saints reached the Broncos' 25-yard line and Gramatica, who was 8-for-8 as a member of the Saints before missing in the first half, barely missed this one to the right, as well."

Well youll forever be disappointed if you expect millionaire athletes who've been pampered since they were tweens to conduct themselves better than the average guy

No I won't because I don't think that way but I think you would admit that many many people do look up to the pampered since childhood millionaires you speak of.

One's felon or non felon status has nothing to do with throwing, running, blocking, or tackling.

I also find the argument of "I eat what I kill" to be a cop out because at the end of the day, the modern hunter kills for pleasure, not to feed his family. The only difference between hunting and dog fighting is that one is socially acceptable (and thus, legal) and the other isn't. That said, I wouldn't hold one's past transgressions against him on the field.

Vick wasn't employed by the NFL. He was employed by the Atlanta Falcons.
