didnt realy think of carolina, so yes they are a wildcard threat as well. (so used to them being irrelevant) The point that i was making was that the 4 seed is so shitty this year that a wildcard team (which would be way better than the 4th seed) will be more likely to play seattle and they will have a better chance to beat them, giving us a chance at homefield NFC championship with the 2 seed. and i would rather play the 3rd seed than play a wildcard team that didnt get a top seed only because the way that playoff rules work (ex 2010 when we were a wildcard and we we played a higher seeded 7-9 seattle)
would you rather play the 3lions or the 5niners in the seccond round?

It is better that a #3 seed but not as good as a #1 seed.
