When the time on the clock turned red then stopped with about 1:06 left, and it didn't say "Pick is in", I thought that a trade was coming with one of the teams hoping to snag Clausen or McCoy. Now, I'm REALLY hoping that they trade Brown and get an early 2nd. They really need to fill that OLB position.

BTW, did anyone else say something along the lines of "fricking Falcons!" when they took Spoon?

I wouldn't mind Norwood in the 3rd

That's what I'm thinking.

Let's not forget this FO does some of it's best work in mid to late rounds.

No... I was fine with them getting chatty spoony. I did say a few colorful things about Indy when they snagged Hughes, though. He's going to be absolute murder playing opposite Freeney.

This is going to work out great. Everyone is worried for nothing. Thw Saints still have 5 more picks plus Jammal Brown to dangle if they choose. The other needs will be addressed. Why do you people doubt the best front office and best coaching staff this organization has ever had? I don't get it.

Same here. I was hoping that they would take Kindle and that Hughes would fall to us; he was the guy I wanted them to get. Kindle was actually my third choice behind Hughes and Spoon

People are quick to forget that just 2 years ago our secondary couldn't stop anything. Sure we had a good year secondary wise but it's better to be safe than sorry. Also we forget about last years 4th round picks, Arnoux and Vaughn. If we don't draft a LB, Dunbar, Casillas, Arnoux, could prove to be suitable a replacement. I say we try and get a DT next. Other than Ellis we don't have a true starter at DT.

i love that we got patrick robinson. he fits our system much better than cook. cook is kinda a cb/fs hybrid.
