The DL has been playing better since Grant has been out of the lineup.

I say FS, CB, or LB.

I say draft a FS and OLB.. Don't draft a corner..

Try to spend most of the free agency effort on that position.

You might laugh, but look around the league at left tackles. It's not exactly a stocked position with alot of great players. Brown, despite the penalties, is pretty good.

one thing that saints fans must stop is getting on the case of jamal brown. yeah he ends up with his fair share of penalties but in a game where the offense throws 40-50 times youre bound to get beat more often than a team that throws half that frequently. one must also consider that jamal brown is brees's BLINDSIDE protector and ask yourself: would you rather see a ten yard hold or a cheap shot at drew's name-plate?? I think drew could answer that with no hesitation. stop looking at the game in one dimension and appreciate arguably our best o lineman in recent years.

synopsis: jamal brown is our qb's blindside protector on the most pass-happy team in the league for a qb that magically ends up being at or around the top of the list for least-sacked. give him a break if he holds here and there.

Gonna be hard for Drew to break the Marino record today if the saints can't stop the Carolina running game.

We need Washington and San Diego to win. We could pick as high as 12 or as low as 14.

Although I think we SHOULD trade back for more picks...

FS and WLB are our biggest needs by far. Followed by NT/DT, Cornerback, Center, OT, Big RB.

please no taylor mays...he has bust written all over him

and dont compare him to laron landry...he is a lot bigger than landry and i bet he runs a good bit slower than landry at the combine

and mays makes laron look like deion sanders coverage wise

Trade down and get in the slot where Rashad Johnson is forecasted to go. Every time I saw Bama play that dude just makes plays. I don't know about his character, but on the field he's a player.

Mays will run plenty fast. He very easily could go aroud 4.3 at 6'3" 230 which is a joke. Size and speed aren't the issue, ball skills are.

I really want to draft one of the two stud free safeties because after those two the drop-off is tremendous..

I do like Nic Harris but he is more of a lineback/safety tweener. And the safety out of South Carolina is far too small for my liking.

i actually would have no problem with us completely trading out of the first round for extra picks.
