Correct, plus in my amateur opinion both QB looked equally talented in last year's Louisville Miami game.
People on this board need to check out both QB's on the same field. I think there is a possibility we got something in Shaugh. And he is a pro style ready to go QB.
Dart has no experience in pro style. I think he needs time to develop and we needed the best ready to go QB there was.

The Saints tried to trade back into the1st round of the draft to acquire Dart…. but price was too high.
How do we know this ??
I was listening to WWL 870 during the draft and Deuce McCallister said several times during middle of 1st round….the Saints and several teams are trying to move back into the 1st round.
In the end, Giants were willing to pay the trade price.
I’m not saying it was good or bad the Saints were trying to do this… Just saying Saints actions confirmed by McCallister on the air several times.
