6 years ago, I never thought I would live to see the Saints even make a super bowl. If they could just make it that far this year, I will be content.
Its wonderful to finally win it. I grew up a Pats fan in New Hampshire, and then the fricking year I moved down here, they beat the Rams.

Take a step back, and try to realize how cocky that statement is

its just almost impossible to go perfect in the modern era. Players are bigger and stronger, thus creating more injuries. The better teams tend to have better depth, but eventually the difference between starters and back-ups becomes evident.

kind of like your excuse that allow you to pump Dallas as a top team
what do you consider top team? what best record number?
bc right now, dallas has a top ten record

We beat ourselves, first and foremost. If the Cowboys "beat", Folk makes that kick.

Saints
Colts
Vikes
In no particular order.

what best record number?

lol
if the difference in getting beat and beating yourself is a missed 25 yard field goal to put the game out of reach, then i dont know what to tell you

top 10 record with 2 weeks to go means you are fighting for your playoff life.
FYI, only 12 teams make the playoffs and Dallas is beat in pretty much every tiebreaker.

i was asking what record makes you a top team? so there are only three top teams in the nfl?

that has been apparent this entire thread...you want to talk about yards per game again???

Only 3 teams have the look and the record.

Because injuries are part of the game. Can Cinci claim fluke because Carson's knee ruined his career? Can NE claim fluke because of Bernard last year?

It's a fluke because we played terrible in a place where we have been dominating our opponents and because Dallas has been playing like crap much of the season.
That is two things right there that aren't normal in regards to this year, thus a fluke.

your nfl allegiance makes me lol at this post
You trying to have rational discourse with pissed off Saints fans makes me LOL at your repeated posts.
It is what it is...the Saints played poorly and the Cowboys played their best game of the year...we only lost by 7. whereas in past years, we lose by 3 or 4 scores in that scenario. We have solid coaches who will correct the mistakes and now we don't have the "unbeaten season" crap hanging over our head and we can just go out and play football. The Saints offense will continue to be one of the best in the NFL, and if we can get a healthy defense and make a few adjustments, we're gonna be tough to beat!!

I guess it was a fluke we didn't win the Superbowl two years ago then, Tyree usually didn't play, 99.9% of the time Rodney smacks that out, and we were killing people all year. However, its not a fluke because you've almost lost like 5 times, and you finally got burnt.
