Saints fans taking over Mansion

Hey the dude who lives on Ocean - is Opium Garden closed now? Or just re-created? That was always our favorite.

Also - How do you like living in South Beach? I think I'm going to include Miami in my upcoming job search but I was curious what the condo market is like there - can you still get pretty good buys do to the oversaturation of condos a few years back?

I just booked 2 round trip direct flights from MSY to MIA and 3 nights at the Marriot hotel on Orbitz for $700....Flights are non refundable but this seems to be a pretty good deal.

I think we all need to take over one of South Beach's bar/club on Saturday night a show time how Saints fans party it up.....

An early Drink starting place is Ted's Hideaway on 2nd street. The have a bunch of TV's always playing sports.(watched many a saints game there with the NFL network they have.) Its a dive bar but makes me feel at home back in La. Met some cool LSU fans from BR there the other night cheering on the tigers....was great to hear people cheer for LSU

I'll be there but I only have to drive 30 mins. And still waiting on the tickets, way to early to get them.

Thinking about driving over for the game. Haven't got tickets yet. It's only about a 90 minute drive from my house.

Sweet! This trip is going to be badass! Whats the best clubs to go to? Also, is there anything to do in Miami, or is everything mostly in South Beach?

The beach is okay way to kill a day - just bring sunglasses so you can surrepticiously stare at Latin girls' asses all day if your girlfriend wont let you gawk openly. Theres lots of good European bakeries that have pastries and breakfast shite, there's a lot of great New York delis that serve Reubens and Matzo ball soup that are insanely good. Then there's an upscale outdoor market with cool stores that is pretty fun. Try the gellato in South Beach theres lots of good gellato stands.

The nightclubs in SoBe are badass - just dress really douchey and "cool" so you don't get stuck waiting in line to get in for 30 minutes. I always dress but last time my buddy who doesn't usually go out came with us and he fricking KILLED us getting into clubs because of his horrible jeans and fricking American Eagle calibur shirt.

Dress like this and have a cute date to avoid being punked by the bouncers.

You can get "passes" from your hotel concierge that cut the cover in half - it's usually like $20 - $30 with the passes to get into a good club but it's worth it. They always have DJ's and cool shite going on. Rap in one room and techno or 80's remixes in others so theres something for everybody.

Finally - eat lots of seafood and eat late - like 10PM along Ocean or Collins - and go to the clubs late - like midnight or so.

So let me get this straight, in order to get into good clubs in South Beach guys have to dress like they're going out to a club in Fat City?

Fat City... hahahhahaha, thats awesome!
What about VIP sections. I have 6 staying at the Cleve but another 20 elsewhere in south beach. How much do tables usually run? Are all the clubs in walking distance of eachother?

Absolutely. Look like the Gotti brothers or you'll get stonewalled.
