single season passing yard record for our pro bowl quarterback????

Which probably cost us our season. Maybe next year Payton will learn its useful to run the ball every now and then

along with injuries, missed field goals, and more bad luck than good. ETA: oh, and terrible coverage in the def secondary

The injuries hurt and I'm sure we would have had a better season were it not for the number of guys on IR but SP's boneheaded insistence on throwing the ball non-stop or handing off to Reggie Bush the few plays DB wasnt throwing were killer. There was no variation in the play calling and defenses are never surprised.

It's still hard to put that much blame on the offense when we're sitting with the best in the NFL. Overall it was a successful offense. Washington, Denver, & Minnesota could have went the other way with making a couple field goals, a routine play on defense, and of course making a 3rd & 1. It just didn't happen and now we're not playing in January. It sucks arse.

awwhhh Well...I'm out of here. I'll rant on tomorrow.

I suppose you're right about the offense. I just think Brees has worn down over the past few games and can't be as efficient because SP is trying to make his arm fall off. But yeah we could easily be 10-4 maybe (11-3 had could we have made some stops in Chicago) if it weren't for some bad calls and missed FGs. Garrett Hartley could have saved us!

face it the Saints suck, they will never be good again.

Beat Dallas' arse every time they have lined up since 1994. What does that say about Dallas?

A Dallas fan would certainly recognize fake fans. Just look in the mirror.

I guarantee a Saints loss.

Remember, they are the Saints. Their history show this.

They beat Detroit in a shoot out. They might not be prepping as hard with the season over but they will still win.

Face it there are guys that are just getting it going, Colston didn't play most of the year, LM wants to keep proving himself, PT wants to make sure he's the starter. There are plenty of guys that want to try and avoid getting cut like Jason David and RG.

Saints win.

It's not impossible for the Saints or for that matter, ANY team to lose to Detroit. I feel confident we will win, I am not jumping off the ship like it appears so many ranters have...

Playoffs or no playoffs...they better handle their business out there.

Help keep the Lions record perfect. We don't need another 1977 Bucs type of memory to our history.

First statement about the Saints from Fox, is that they are walking into a "perfect storm". Big letdown out of playoffs, terrible road team, can't guard Calvin Johnson long, etc, etc.

The bad thing is, I cannot take issue with anything they just said...add in our history of epic embarrassments, and I am
