It bothers me when I hear people say " well goodell told u to cut it out 3-4 times!"
Goodell could have been more stern with his warnings and inquiries but it looks as if he just made half-arse inquiries, leaving the saints to believe it was no big deal. Also, goodell could have given Payton 8 games and it would have been widely viewed as very severe. And paytons involvement was minimal. Gregg Williams should have shouldered most of the penalties. But it's like the saints got punished 5 times for the same crime. Goodell also basically penalized us for lying. Your telling me that lying alone was worth all those penalties? Cuz other teams have been proven guilty of exactly the same thing as the saints minus the lying. Goodell could have penalized the team fairly, instead he chose to punish an entire fan base. He wanted to send a message, fairness be damned.

What part of the Saints admitted to the bounty system, admitted to the lying, admitted to the cover-up, admitted to keeping the bounties going at least until 2009 don't you get?

The saints admitted to having an incentive program, but they never admitted to having a bounty system to the extent the NFL says they did. In fact, they vehemently deny that.

we don't know that. I would imagine he was crystal clear.

He did.

Because several were involved.

some of it yes, but they became more severe for the cover-up and continued bounty system

How are the fans punished? He can't let people off because the team has great fans If he really wanted to punish the fans he would have made them ineligible for the playoffs or had them play more games away from home
It's not a conspiracy folks. Goodell fawned over the Saints. That was pretty obvious before all of this.

Too bad the NFL only got so butt hurt because of the litigation brought on by former players, and they have to try and save their arse, if not for that, the NFL doesnt give a shite about the safety, or they would stop the push for an 18 game season

CSP, Williams, and Loomis were the idiots
That doesn't mean that Goodell is only hated bc of Bountygate and by Saints fans.
There are other reasons to hate Goodell besides suspending Payton and Loomis

semantics. They admitted to an incentive program for cart-offs, etc.

No. They admitted they had a pay for performance, not a pay for injury, which is what a bounty system is.

Is that what I said, or do you have something to back up 100 fold as offical?

I was a figure of speech. Don't be so literal.
