Thanks guys, i think the AWD is what i need. Camp has some trails that get pretty nasty when it rains.

Plus i would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

LNCHBOX is pretty well versed in 4x4 world. I wouldn't try to check him. I own a 4x4 4runner and haven't found an issue with anything he's posted.

If he's that well versed, we will know each other.

And he should know there is a middle point where 4x4 values wallow a bit.

Give it a fricking rest dude. You're trying to split hairs when you know damn well my first post in this thread is spot on.

I specifically stated, twice, that my situation was not typical.

I'm splitting hairs in the same way that you are splitting hairs.

Also it's an extremely slow day in the office.

I'm not splitting hairs though. I stated a fairly universal truth. Your non typical situation is the exception, and frankly I think my universal truth still fits it.

We have a 2018 AWD, rides much smoother than I thought it would. Have you thought about a Highlander? Similar price point, much roomier.

Well, frankly, you will have to live with the fact that you are incorrect.

I'm sorry, this will likely be hard for you.

You people need to learn the difference between AWD and full time 4WD. You're insulting your vehicle by calling it AWD

Show me an example of a 2wd being worth more than an exactly equal 4wd.

wouldn't two equally equipped 2WD vehicles be priced the exact same?

Deflecting instead of answering. Pretty typical when someone is full of it.

Can both of you just agree with me that 4runners do not come in AWD?

Going on the offensive when something doesn't go their way, fairly indicative of a twat waffle.
