Yeah, I'm at the Sox game in the sun enjoying a great weekend before participating in the most historied road race of all time. What a horrible place to be.

Eat at Giacomos in the north end. Get there early, no reservations and no waiting list, have to wait in line. Great Italian food.

Had a great time as a Boston newbie. Thanks for all of the advice.
Was able to see two American 5k road racing records broken on Saturday morning at the BAA 5k. Caught the latter half of the Freedom Trail (Old North Church, USS Constitution, Bunker Hill) and had lunch at a little Italian place in North End.
Visited Minuteman Park in Concord. This was awesome. Learned a lot and was able to feel the pride and history of the place where the Revolutionary War began.
Ran the Boston Marathon on Monday. I cannot put into words the elation and emotion that I felt while running those 26.2 miles. Absolutely unforgettable.
The day following the race, went to the Sam Adams Brewery (great tour in their R&D brewery). Lots of fun. Had lunch (lobster roll) at Legal Seafood Bayside and then toured the Harpoon Brewery (fun, but I didn't enjoy it as much as Sam Adams).
Went downtown and checked out the view from the Skywalk in the Prudential Building, which seemed like a better option after seeing that the bar at the top had an obscured view of the skyline unless you got a table to eat. Plus we got to check out the view in all directions of the city.
Caught the sunrise heading towards Boston Common Gardens on Commonwealth Ave. I definitely recommend this.
I didn't get to experience everything that I had hoped to do in the area, but I re-qualified to run the race again next year, so it's possible that I'll get another opportunity that stuff as well.
Thanks again. *cheers!*
