I like Arica, and LOVE Toto, but one of the biggest missing elements in songs like in it and 99 is the musical genius of Toto, how tight they were as a group, just how professional they were individually, and especially how awesome Steve Lukather was and is as a guitarist and leader of the band, I find it best demonstrated in other songs, especially in Jake to the Bone, and Dave’s gone Skiing. People who attribute them to a pop song genre should take note. This was a very serious rock band and very serious musicians.
