She's lucky it wasn't worse. She could have split her skull open or broken her jaw.

Should have gone to a walk in clinic. They could stitch that up and it helps keep insurance costs down.

This is probably pretty close to accurate. I went to the er recently and had to have some blood work done, just the fricking blood work was $1200. The er visit was $560. And then a few other misc. charges.

My son fell and broke his arm about 2 months ago, took him to the ER and had the $50 copay.. A week later got $135 bill, so I'm assuming around that.
