Truth. I got married there in July. Kate Upton and Cameron Diez were hanging at the bar with us, er, next to us.

Oh if you wanted to save money you can stay at the Comfort Suites which is owned by Atlantis and you have access to all the same stuff. Accomodations are the same as Beach Club but much cheaper. BTW in Nassau prepare to get jobbed on taxes and service charged and you typically even pay for electricity on top of your room rate per person. So dont be suprised when you get your bill and learn that you paid an extra $$$ a night.

Went last summer. Stayed at cable beach area. Very nice beach there, and a ten minute cab to Atlantis.

Went a few years ago. Loved it. There's so much stuff to do, we swam with the dolphins, played in all the pools, you have to go on that slide that an earlier poster posted a picture of.

I'm not a big gambler but the casino is fun too. I love the lobby of the hotel. I could just sit there and watch the fish swim by all day.

I'd love to go back.

The waterpark is probably the best I've been to. I wouldn't say it's overrun with kids, but you'll definitely see plenty.

I see. So plenty of urine and fecal matter in the water.

Casino there is rigged. Watched many dice jump on the craps table. Haven't seen anything like that anywhere else. Dad complained, got a nights room comped...is what it is.

Resort is awesome though.

Yes I have. I travel to the Bahamas once a month. Check the crime on tribune242.com. Stick with Atlantis in Nassau. The out islands are safe to travel to. eleuthera is my Fav.

You can fly from Nassau to Eleuthera Exuma Abaco or Freeport and then fly back to the states from there. I recommend a couple of days extra in Eleuthera and you can go to harbour Island or Spanish Wells. abaco you can go to hope town and green turtle cay. If interested I can tell you more.
