Checking in. I’m too old for this shite. I usually go to a frind’s house. This year I stayed in and had pancakes and hash browns, my niece’s request, for dinner. About to call it a night.

I got in from the camp around noon, ate some Popeye’s, took a nap, the wife and I took the kids to an early dinner and then Star Wars at Canal Place. Back at the house for 10 just chillin. I’m on Rum drink and the lady is on wine. Waiting on midnight so I can go to bed.

We spent 2 hours looking for a deer the boy shot earlier, 30 feet downhill in the creek. Found it and dressed it out.

Is it just me but frick cold weather?

Hey Nurse. Hope your hubby is ok. HNY!! My friend broke her elbow while on vacation in Cabo. She went to the hospital there where they wrapped it up good and sent her on her way. Be glad he’s there in Phoenix.

Y’all come out here. It’s been in the high 80s. I actually hate it. I like winter to feel like winter not summer lite. I kind of miss my Boston winters.

All we did was hunt birds this weekend. Killed shite load of Wegion and mallards ?? on the coast.

Heading up your way next week to catch that rut in bama. We need to hook up.

Of course the horse can come. We’re only about 10 miles from the equestrian center. Lots of horse trails and stuff close by. Plus, the neighborhoods in Burbank are all horse friendly.
