The only difference between anecdotal and solid evidence is quantity. Have you turned on the news lately? Or, ever?

ETA: I just want to add that it’s astonishing how much you supported the Covid quarantine yet also support these thousands of people getting together to “protest”
Got a link to me supporting the covid quarantine? I can show you dozens of times where I have been 100% opposed to the shutdown since day 1.

You supported a poster who provided anecdotal evidence. You shrugged my anecdotal evidence off.

It’s cool.

I don’t really feel like digging through your post history but you had a ton of posts where you were talking down to people about the science of the spread

We can chalk this one down to semantics if you’d prefer

He provided anecdotal evidence of repeated occurrences. You provided anecdotal non-evidence.

It's impossible to produce evidence that this does not happen. You can only provide evidence that it did or does happen. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

We both have the same amount of clout with our claims on an anonymous message board. You picked his side and claimed I was lying.

I am realistic about the risk of the spread and the severity of covid, and I am also realistic about the risks of shutting down the economy. Covid is nowhere near bad enough to justify the economic damage we've caused. I have been very consistent here.

No, I generally prefer the truth and honesty over people interpreting words as they see fit.

The problem with your argument is that you are trying to make a case that racism simply doesn't exist. Otherwise, what would be the point of relating such a meaningless observation?

You're going to have to explain that one for me.

One guy says that he personally knows several people who struggle with a particular problem, and you think your "evidence" which consists of "I ain't seen shite" is supposed to be equally important or valid? That's ridiculous.

And then you act like you know something about honesty with a premise that absurd?

Judging by your post history, you'd be the first one to call the cops on black kids picking up yard signs.

How is that? Because I don’t believe blacks are killed by cops at an alarming rate? So, that’s what your definition of racism is?

No, because you spent days making a fool of yourself trying to justify the murder of Arbery.

My whole point is he shared an anecdote anonymously on here and I shared a couple as well. You chose to believe him and not me.

You said I haven’t discussed issues with folks I’ve met in my neighborhood. It’s your right to believe that. Just like it’s your right to believe the earlier dude’s story.

Racism certainly exists. But 99% of folks I interact with, along all walks of life, seem to get along pretty damn well

No. I made a fool of you saying he just stopped for water after jogging.

It’s okay, Korkstand. You have an agenda. But you will never see that agenda play out in your lifetime.

How’s that feel? Losing all them years?

Hm again, link to where I didn't believe you?

Most people are civil, no surprise. Most people are also not racist, also no surprise. But too many are. Even if it's not blatant, day in and day out of subtle things can wear on you. Disagree?

How many are?

Serious question, Korkstand. Do you believe the KKK exists today? And how much do you think white supremacists play into the African American hardship?

Link? I never once mentioned water. I never even said shite about him jogging. I said it doesn't matter what he did in that house, nobody had the right to hunt him down, assault him and kill him.

Don't we all?

And why don't you explain to the class what's so bad about my agenda?
