if they tell you to get a permit to vote, are you going to do that. what about a permit to speak? Why are you people so willing to pay a tax to exercise a clear constitutional right?

Let me know how that works out in court.

You guys have to wait to get it in Louisiana?

Where I am you walk in. Give them the proper documents. They run the police check on the spot. You walk over to take picture. The card is printed within 30 seconds. Total time maybe 5 minutes.

Anyone that argues the if it saves one life thing is too far gone mentally to be reasoned with.

I say we lock all Democrats in prison for life. If it saves just one life.

As far as I know the only status you can check is for an incomplete application. I haven't tried calling in to LSP for it, but I'm sure they will just say they have a lot to process and yours is still being processed.

ETA: The only reason I know I've been assigned a GP# is because my email never showed up to pay for my permit and they had to send it to me manually and it showed my number when I opened the link.

I don’t think he’s a democrat. He’s just a Fudd.

He probably thinks you don’t need anything more than a .38 revolver, a pump shotgun, or a bolt action 30-06.

Took me 6 months in FLA once all my paperwork, classes, and fingerprinting was done and submitted. That took about 3 months longer than it should have. I had an adjudicated offense in another state that FLA couldn't clear up because that state was basically closed for COVID.
