My neighbor has one and it’s a beautiful dog. He makes a pass every afternoon to s couple houses in our area and then back home.

I have 3 and they are freaking awesome. They are a lot of work, and if you aren’t willing to put the time, effort, and energy in...then don’t get one.
But when properly exercised, and mentally stimulated they are the absolutely best dogs. They are beautiful, fiercely loyal, and incredibly smart. They can be very stubborn, but as long as you establish that you are the alpha when they’re young...they will listen to you even if they really don’t want to. They are incredibly friendly dogs to all and very good with little kids. They would make an awful guard dog.
Mine also never howl, or bark at anything - whether it’s another human or another animal. If you train them, exercise them, and play with them I really can’t think of a better dog. My first one destroyed some things because I was young and an ignorant dumbass when it came to his needs. Ever since I’ve never had one problem. Nothing destroyed, and they also eat less food than a normal dog. They are high output low input type dogs. I personally will never have another breed after having Huskys.

They are very popular because a Husky was featured in the Game of Thrones and dumb people who watch that garbage went out and bought one.
Those were either Northern Inuits or real wolves.
You bought a husky, didn't you?

I imagine they did not know but shaving them is not a good idea. They can sunburn easily and their coat helps keep them cool in the summer. Also often times it will not grow back properly.
I guess shaving was the wrong term, I think they just trimmed it. Atleast with the first one they did, they probably know that by now atleast. I'll mention it next time I talk to him.
