This would be a salaried position as well. Not exactly sure of what my salary would be. That will be weird going from salaried to hourly for sure.

Going from nights though to a day position...I'm assuming I will take a paycut though. I'm so burnt out on my unit though and just tired all the time from not sleeping well...maybe a paycut it will be worth it for my mental well being. I've also dealing with a lot of stress right now from my family relocating near me in AZ after the flood and trying to get them adjusted to such a huge change(and my dad isn't adjusting so well and a constant source of stress for me right now). My current unit got rid of our CNAs at night and just keep expecting us to do more and more with less and less. So I'm stressed at work and at home. I can't change the home stuff..but I can change my work stress.

But...you never know, maybe I can negotiate a decent salary.

About as often as you take your phone out of your pocket to check the time. I mean it's warranted enough that your phone also tells time.

Haven't bought into this gotta have a cell phone thing...not yet. So a watch is a nice thing to wear.

I have one around but the idea of living on a leash, tethered to the internet, or being instantly gotten to seems so interdependent to me. It's in the truck on the console for when needed, at work there's a phone for emergencies, and not dropping whatever I;m doing to be at beckon command is just the way I was brought up. Like growing up meant heading out in the world and being responsible for whatever comes your way and not calling home for mommy or daddy...

...or searching on the internet to see if something's still cool or not.

($30 Timex-Ironman and when wearing a suit, well it's not seen!... Yes, I do have a nice old-school leather-style Citizen for dress up or when looks matter the most.)

I wear a cheap digital Timex daily. Makes it easier when I'm busy working to just look at my wrist than to pull out my phone.

Wearing a nice watch for formal events and special events adds a nive accessory to your outfit. You should own at least one nice watch.

I haven't worn a watch in 20 years.
