Retaliation by the weak normally takes the form of terrorism, are you cool with that? Remember there are quite a few here.
The cartels will not be destroyed as long as Americans are buying their product, 6 new snakes will emerge for every one we chop the head off.
The real answer to the problem is for folks to stay away as well as end the cartels money train but that is not going to happen, gotta have those el cheapo vacations and cocaine.

It really does not matter what the Mexican government wants to do. The cartels tell the government what to do not the other way around.

This is a myth that government uses to spread fear and maintain control. Ask yourself, if heroin is legal tomorrow, are you going to go out and shoot up some just to try it out? No, you're not? Because you're intelligent and capable of making rational decisions, right? So what difference does it make in whether it's legal or not?
They've cracked down more and more and more and OD's have only risen in response. That is abysmal failure in every facet of this farce.
