Red light cameras be racist. They detect more blacks running red lights than whites in Baton Rouge.

The really dumb thing about those red light cameras is that at every intersection where there is one in Baton Rouge it doesn't necessarily mean a ran red light. The camera is triggered if you pull up too far at the intersection.

Not BR but I got one in Mamou last spring. I'm sure that ticket has rotted away in a trash pile somewhere by now.

The real racket was they will issue a $139 ticket for right on red if you didn’t come to a full stop first. In the name of safety of course.
