On in ring ability Steve Regal should get a mention. I look back on that match he had with Goldberg when he went to town working him really showing how terrible Goldberg was in the ring.

That was William Regal

Basically they wanted Regal and Goldberg to have a 6 minute match. Before that all Goldberg had done was go in there and win quickly with two moves, a spear and power bomb. Goldberg had no idea what the frick he was doing when it actually came to having a longer match.

Stone Cold Steve Austin

What? Regal went into business for himself and got deservedly fired. Dude was a mess at the time with pills and alcohol. He went to WWE and lasted about a minute there before getting fired again.

A lot of people are listing good wrestling personalities, I am talking about pure in ring ability, performance and skill

Ted DiBiase. He was incredibly good at carrying jobbers and making ridiculously bad complete meatballs look like they belonged in the ring with him.

Hogan drew a shite load of money true but he couldn't work worth a shite and his mic work was below average at best.

You are talking about Brooke Hogan right? Not her father....who is one of the best all time on the mic.

That dude is full potato and a victim of WWE revisionist history. "Hogan isn't even top 20 all-time because their DVD said so!"

That's right, WWE released a list and DVD in 2010 or 2011 called "The Top 50 Superstars of All Time" and Hogan was #23.

Goldberg was green as hell in that match. Botched at lest two take downs, looked befuddled on what to do.

Goldberg is the epitome of all sizzle and no steak. Was one of the worst things to happen to WCW and wrestling in general.

I know some marks around here love there big badasses, giants and what not, but Bill Goldberg was a shite wrestler that has a great look and a gimmick that destroyed itself.

As far as trying to get himself fired, the booking in WCW was trash, of course Regal was looking to get out.

That match was probably the best match Goldberg ever had, btw.

Went to a local promotion a few years ago on a lark at Grace King gym. They hired Dibiase for the event. No match except for predictable interference. Still had the mic skills along with a few extra pounds.
