I got that Seiko quite a bit less than $200 too. Seikos are always a solid buy for durability. Especially their mechanical watches, the GS's are designed to be very accurate (Seiko's in-house standards are higher than COSC) and low maintenance. I'm looking for an Omega Seamaster but I'd pull the trigger on a Spring-Drive GS if I found one at a similar price first.

Moonwatch all day. That Seiko a jumbled mess and I'd bet 99% people on here don't know what the bezel does and/or how to use it.

No. There are a lot of classic and high quality watchmakers and models outside of those you mentioned. I like more subtle stuff, but there is plenty between Citizen and Rolex that isn't gaudy and is high quality.

High End-Omega or Rolex, anything else is cheesy and tacky.

Lower End-Tag or Citizen

Anything else is just a waste of time/money. Might as well just get a cheap watch.

This is the text book post of someone who doesn't know anything about watches.

Yeah, Omega and Rolex are the only brands worth buying on the high end. And Tag (tacky imo) and citizen are the only brands worth buying on the low end.

STFU. You don't know shite.

Omega isn't even a high end watch.

I wear a Ball Hydrocarbon Chronograph. I purchased mine in Singapore, but I believe here in the States you pick it up for between $3-$4k. I've had mine now for 8 years and it has given me no problems at all.

It's a matter of perspective, but yeah, there are a lot of watches out there that make Omega and a lot of rolexes look cheap.

We have been talking about 3-5k watches?

An Omega/Rolex would be on the high end of that range. And the others would be on the low end.

A Patek Philippe would be considered High End/ Ultra Luxury.

I would venture to guess you don't even know the differences between watch movements.

Yeah...they list for $200, but you can actually pick one up for $150 or less. I've had one with the blue face for about 10 years. Excellent watch.
