Parker already had just as much traffic as Boyd. Now there will be almost double the number of cars on Parker.

That's not the point. I do not mind driving an extra block.
No left turn at Boyd makes the traffic on Parker exponentially worse.

You can still go down Boyd. Right turn onto Burbank then turn left into the mellow mushroom parking lot then get back on Burbank going the way you need to go.

Well fyi you are right.
Although, taking a left into the CEBA parking lot can back up/suck at times. Traffic gets congested right there during busy hours.

Traffic will be backed up on Highland at Parker traffic signal to turn left there. Traffic on Parker will be backed up from Burbank across Highland to the lakes.
You can bet your last dollar this is true.
Removing Boyd from the equation is taking away a perfectly good street and diverting the bulk of traffic to Parker.
WTF is the purpose of Boyd if you can only turn right? It wasn't an accident that it was made to access from Highland to Nicholson. Maybe they should make Parker NO RIGHT TURN and let both lanes turn left?????
