The MRI guy thinks the world is 6000 years old. Better explain that to the 7000 year old crew !

He worked for Boeing as a mechanical engineer. Not much of a resume.

though you did say:

I feel like the only reason anyone knows who he is today is because reddit loves to blow him at the drop of the hat
it's not because he's won numerous Emmy's, or helped educate millions of kids, or been part of many many organizations in the public spot light or anything

it's because reddit blows him

From the article I posted above:

Hugh Ross is speaking in Houston Friday, I'm planning to attend that and have a feeling I will get a lot more out of it than I would watching this.

I don't see why you can't believe in God and evolution. Being that God put it in motion (say the big bang) and the world evolved in the manner that we know today.

You absolutely can. If someone tells you that you can't, then just blow them off because they don't want a middle ground. Those people, whether purely religious or purely science, want to be 100% correct.

I love how it's the 21st century and there are still educated humans that don't think evolution happens.

It's fricking mindblowing really.

"Evidence confirming a young universe"

I'd love to laugh at his evidence. We can see things in space further than all of mankind has been around. That alone should be conclusive proof.

I wasn't trying to bash him. I was just saying it's not much of a resume, because it's not. He hasn't written scientific, peer-reviewed journal articles. That doesn't mean he's not intelligent.

Winning Emmy's isn't exactly an objective evaluation of his scientific acumen. For the record, I loved Bill Nye when I was in elementary school, and I also agree with him in this debate.

Is Ham arguing for both evolution and a young Earth?
