There are thousands on this board and, because a few people upvoted those comments, you assume everyone here wants to kill Muslims.

I gotta tell ya, BV, I'm seeing some irony here.

There are not thousands of people in this thread and those posts are the most upvoted posts in this thread. Your people have spoken. The results are in. They're idiots. I'll pray for you.

Your main point seems to be that it's ok to stereotype people as long as those people aren't brown or they don't disagree with you.

And, thanks, I'll take any prayers for me that I can get, regardless of religious persuasion.

So less than maybe 5% of this board's posters and lurkers, which happens to be on the low side of the percentage of muslims that are radical?

THIS WHOLE BOARD IS FULL OF HATE!!!

So what you're doing in generalizing the board based on the thoughts of a few.

Isn't it ironic?

It's not fair to say that to Europeans who face a legit threat from these people.

This is what I said:

Its a scary thought that these events can turn normal folks into fervent racists and xenophobes. And like I said, its even more scary how understandable it seems

A. I said it was understandable

B. I said it to zero Europeans

Peter Quinn disagrees. Granted this is fiction, but it eerily prescient...

Peter Quinn: What strategy?Tell me what the strategy is and I'll tell you if it's working. [Silence] See, that right there is the problem because they - they have a strategy. They're gathering right now in Raqqa by the tens of thousands, hidden in the civilian population, cleaning their weapons and they know exactly why they're there.

CIA official: Why is that?

Peter Quinn: They call it the end times. What do you think the be-headings are about? The crucifixions in Deir Hafer, the revival of slavery? Do you think they make this s*** up? It's all in the book. Their f****** book. The only book they ever read - they read it all the time. They never stop. They're there for one reason and one reason only: to die for the Caliphate and usher in a world without infidels. That's their strategy and it's been that way since the seventh century. So do you really think that a few special forces teams are going to put a dent in that?

CIA official: Well what would you do?

Peter Quinn: Are you offering me a promotion?

CIA official: I'm offering you a hypothetical.

Peter Quinn: Two-hundred thousand American troops on the ground indefinitely to provide security and support for an equal number of doctors and elementary school teachers.

CIA official: Well that's not going to happen.

Peter Quinn: Then I better get back there.

CIA official: What else? What else would make a difference?

Peter Quinn: Hit reset.

CIA official: Meaning what?

Peter Quinn: Meaning pound Raqqa (ISIS’s stronghold) into a parking lot.

This was an awesome fricking scene in Homeland.

I think I rewinded it like 20 times.

I don't think it will take many statistical studies to show that the vast majority of the billions of Muslims are not terrorists and that the OT'ers begging for a Muslim holocaust are idiots. I see which group you would rather defend though. Sad.

When did i defend anyone or anything?

So calling out your hypocrisy is now defending the "bomb 'em to hell" group on the OT.

That type of logic is similar to the mouth breathers on here calling you pro-Muslim/liberal retard because you don't want to eradicate their entire religion and population.

You're just full of irony today.

I never disagreed with this. But your previous posts didn't single out this group. It referred the the board as a whole.

I love these threads because there truly is no answer to the terrorism and radical muslim issue but people still fling shite at the wall and hope it sticks in the form of upvotes.

It’s like 4th graders arguing over who has the better solution to make cold fusion work.

And I'm pretty indifferent on the ideas all around. I agree the Quran, when taken literally, contains the guiding principles behind jihad. I have no clue what to do about it though. We can't make billions of people stop being Muslim and we can’t do nothing. So what we have to do is attack pockets of the Muslim world to stop the spread of radical Islam and terrorism which helps in the short term, but which has unavoidable collateral damage, which leads them to hate us even more in the long term.

The world is fricked. That is all.

No my idea would be to put a bullet in his brain and dump his body in the ocean. That way you know that he will never commit another act of terror.

THIS. The best way a govt can protect its civilians from armed attack is to allow those civilians to arm themselves and the justice system to act swiftly, smartly, and violently to any and all outside or internal threats to those citizens. This is BASIC logic, not rocket science. You don't pander to social justice and half-measures when innocent lives are on the line.

No. Violence is the only answer when dealing with these goat frickers. It's the only thing they'll respond to. It's the only thing they know. Bush started out showing them what real violence was (see the Marines in Fallujah) but the American people don't have the stomach for violence and doing whatever it takes to win. Politicians ruined Iraq.

This. Everyone tries to throw out rational ideas... while dealing with highly irrational ideologies. You can't reason with Islam. They have their holy text and you're not going to rewrite their beliefs.

Yep. There is no morally correct answer to this problem but you have idiots on both sides either calling for genocide or saying "well they started it 1500 years ago."
