It was so horrible and he was so shook up about it he had to take a bunch of pictures and call the television station. What a douchebag.

IIRC something similar to this happened when they were building the Southgate Towers near LSU.

What really sucks about the cruise worker if he were a below deck worker, is that most of those workers come from 3rd world countries and those guys tend to be the only income coming in for an entire family.

This. Our society has no respect anymore. His first thoughts probably weren't to see if someone needed help either. Instead, let me film this and get a moment of fame.

No, my point was about his natural reaction before he knew the details.

I hate elevators. I've been creeped out by them since a local incident happened a few years ago. An elderly couple were living in a huge house and they were old so they used a small elevator to go between floors. One day, the power to the elevator died with them in it and they were trapped in the elevator for days till they died from lack of water or food. No thanks.

Wow, I always figured those things had some way of contacting help in that kind of situation.

They usually do and public elevators I know for sure are required by law for that but I think theirs was so old and they had lived there for so long, it'd probably been well over a decade since anyone had made any repairs or anything to it.
