So if you don't like having Christianity shoved down your throat, get out?
Absolutely not. However, if you know that 75% of the population believes in God, and it pisses you off, then maybe a better option (as opposed to waging an anti-God war) would be to simply relocate - if it truly annoys you that much. That's all I'm saying...

Not you specifically, but would anyone like to try to explain to me what happened in the incident with my step-son?
This was last December. He was shot on Thanksgiving night in the neck. The gun was a shotgun pistol, the slug pierced and completely severed his brain stem.
I'm not trying to sound all traumatic, my family is at peace over the entire situation. I just say those things in a case you understand the medical significance. SUPPOSEDLY, without a functional brain stem your body can do nothing, mentally, you're there. Physically, you are without any motion or movement. It is like that for your entire body.
How is it then that he opened his eyes, lifted his head, looked to his brothers, mother, and myself, and said he was going home?
I may come across as strange on this website, but I can assure you that my family would not strike you as a bunch of lunatics. How did this happen? Why did this happen?
Medically, it's impossible. Personally, I believe it was a reward for the faith of the family. Instead of freaking out, going nuts, ECt, at the tragedy, we prayed. We prayed and prayed and prayed. He had hundreds of people praying for him for a month.
It was his time to go home. I think God rewarded our faith and allowed him movement and speech briefly enough to ease our suffering. Understand, he wasn't saved at the time of the shooting.
That was our big fear. He wouldn't accept Christ before death. The doctors were adamant that he could hear us during those long weeks, even if he couldn't respond. We talked to him about God, and accepting him.
It is my firm belief we were rewarded from faith, and that God let us know that in affect, he had accepted him! Yes indeed! Hallelujah!
So did we all just make that up? Seriously, what do you think? Am I making this up? Must you see a link?
The child spoke, and then left this world within 30 minutes.
Medically, there have been published cases of brain stems partially healing themselves relatively quickly and allowing partial movements of eyelids, vocal chords, etc.
eta: Not saying you didn't see what you saw btw. Just offering up a medical opinion. The body does some amazing things just before death.

Yes. That is exactly correct.
You do not believe in the one true god, Mithras.
You are an atheist.
Please provide me some links to prove your athiest beliefs.

Atheism is, by definition, the disbelief of all deities. If he believes in the Judeo-Christian God then he doesn't believe in the complete absence of deities and is therefore not an atheist.

Don't argue with him. He is like 15. Just ignore him.

False.
There is only one God, Mithras. He does not believe in him.
Therefore, he is an atheist.

I'm 34.
But I'd be very willing to bet, based on your posts, you are no older than 15.
