I've never understood it myself and have been called it more times than I care to count. My point is that it's meant to be derogatory but it's ok since it's another race doing it to whites.

I'm about 13-14, playing basketball in my driveway on the corner of a 4-way stop. This squeaky arse, beat up car comes to a stop. My 2 friends and I naturally stop and turn our heads. At that moment, a fat black lady yells out, "Watchu looking' at honky?!?" We all just busted out laughing and the car drove off.
So that is how I feel about being called a honky.

It didn't bother me the thing that bothered me is that Facebook thinks he can call me honky and its fine but my wetback comment gets deleted for being offensive. Why is ok to call whites what are meant to be offensive terms (cracker,honkey etc.) but its not allowed towards other races? I'm not racist but I'm sick of double standards in our society.
