I don't know about "the US." I've lived in the South my whole life and I can't ever remember having an interracial couple in my social circle or my family. I can tell you at least 90% of married white people have a white spouse. That's obvious.
Maybe your experience is different, though. How many white men from Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, or Alabama do you know who've married black women?
How many white women from that part of the world do you know who've married black men? Would you describe them as "marriage material?" Do you think their motives were sincere, or based on some kind of pathological thought process or fetish?

Anything is possible, but I'm talking about the reality of 2019.
It sounds like you're dealing in hypotheticals - which is fine as a thought exercise - but the reality is Americans separate by race more than people do in Latin America. I don't think it's good.

I know. McCain lost 2008 for several reasons but for one he called out a supporters comments about Obama being a Muslim. McCain called out a liar and lost support from far right. Trump embraced that lie and understood 25-30% of Americans are racist. Throw in another 20-25% who vote R’s no matter and bam. That’s where we are at in this country.

I guess you could say that’s one reason. Do you think Obama would have lost in 2008 if he was white? I voted for him because of his ideas regarding the terrible economic situation that started in late 2008.

Probably. You’d have an inexperienced, young, and otherwise unremarkable senator/community organizer vs a “war hero”/well-connected senator and a cute female governor.
Also, statistics show that certain demographics that typically didn’t show up to the polls came out in droves

What about handguns? Ars aren’t even in the same ballpark compared to handgun deaths. You ok with handguns? And what is a “ social media psycho”

Yep. Too bad Obama and Congress weren’t able to get something done after Sandy Hook. Assault rifle ban back in 2012 might have saved lives this weekend. El Paso shooter had free reign with no LE within minutes. Imagine if Dayton shooter only had 10 round clip since the police acted so swiftly.

You can easily fire 41 rounds in a minute and a half with a magazine fed semi-auto rifle. You could do it in half that time or less.
