Also do not rely on the wall switch being off when bending the contact tab.

Many home owners and wanna be electricians will accidently or unknowingly switch the neutral line to the light fixture.

While this will turn the light on and off, it will still have power from the hot side going to the fixture. Please turn off the breaker before sticking a metal object into the fixture. Or at least video the event and share with us.

I've never seen this. Seems like it would trip a breaker either immediately or as soon as the light was turned on.

Looks like you could use some caulking to fill that huge arse gap between your moulding and ceiling
