Anti white male discrimination is a real thing in admissions for top colleges and universities. White males are currently better off coming out of mixed race public schools than some elite private school, unless their parents are celebrities or something like that. This kind of naked racism has been totally normalized. The SCOTUS has some cases before it that could rectify this.

Deerfield Academy class of 1990...what do you want to know?

Phillips Exeter - 52.4% minority enrollment
Andover - 59.6% minority enrollment
Church Farms - 64% minority enrollment
Episcopal High School - 41% minority enrollment
St. Paul’s School - 48% minority enrollment
These numbers are from US News & World Report. I could have done more schools but got bored after going through the top 5 ranked boarding schools. I doubt the numbers will change much. The idea that these schools are a full of a bunch of WASP kids from wealthy families is simply false.

The US News arms race is definitely driving a lot of this. It weighs diversity heavily in its rankings so the schools have to gerrymander their student bodies to stay competitive in the rankings. The end results are comical and speak for themselves. The schools get what they deserve.

My experience was incredible. Of course, 1990 was the year Deerfield went co-ed, so that was a big deal.
But Choate still sucks, so there's that.
