i raised hell up the highest person I could at assurant solutions. result....ford ordered the parts 1 hour ago. their reason for denying the claim was they tought it MIGHT have been covered by a previous warranty contract.
Why do they have to pay this game? i know because they are insurance providers who don't want to pay anything.

Common knowledge that:

3rd party warranties are a rip off

I haven't had problems, but you definitely need to know wtf you are talking about when speaking to them

We've never had a problem with third party warranties at our shop. You just need to know what to tell them.

Not all 3rd Party Service Contracts are garbage. The number one rated Service Contract comes from CNA, which is 3rd party. Thats above Ford, Toyota and every other manufactures Service Contract. That's who I work for and I average less than one phone call a month on questionable/ tough call claims and I service 38 stores. In the same situation, I would go to the GM and then Owner. A 5 min. Conversation would have taken care of it. I was in retail 20 years so if I can help anyone with any questions feel free to email me at david.delrio@premier-warranty.com. I'll always shoot you straight.
