It is absolutely no different than you had going off Williams.
coming from West… I-10 literally backs up on the interstate in the right lane. To a construction zone left turn on Loyola towards the airport. Poorly labeled directions and construction zone to get there. Poorly synchronized lights. Altogether poorly planned and executed. For an airport… by design is help people be more efficient in travel.

which ones? I take uber to the airport and have had 0 issues.
I have to get a rent car. Adds an extra hour both ways. Used to take an extra 15 minutes

Williams still backs up on the interstate.

And Williams doesn't have construction on it.

It is far from being executed. All the construction should show you that.

Getting from the 310 exit to the loyola exit at the wrong time of day sucks, and then the exit itself sucks.

that is a completely different issues.

the people shtting on the airport are not being honest, it's a terrific, modern airport. they did a great job.

only thing I would change is separating SW from the other airlines traffic.

The rental car issue is a legitimate downgrade. But I'm not sure any decent sized airport was as easy as the old terminal. So pretty hard to replicate that.

why weren’t they built in advance of a new airport open for travel?

Cart before the horse? Bad planning? Bad execution? Just to give people something to whine about? Nothing in life is perfect?

Pick any of them. As it stands the new terminal is better in almost every way and they aren't even done with it.

I live in Nola. Why in the fricking world would I ever rent a car here?

Even if you don’t live here. Why not just Uber?

it’s not a question, guy. It was (is) poorly planned and executed. This isn’t the first upgraded city airport project. This is a Nola and perhaps Louisiana thing.
