I-75 in FL is high speed country.
I drive in the right lane at 70-72 and have a stress-free drive... everyone passing me and i pass the occasional truck or RV. No jockeying for position, worrying about who is coming up behind me or idiots using traffic as a rolling chicane... plus i get an extra 1-2mpg
When you sale or trade your vehicle someone will most likely be getting a better vehicle too boot. I keep interstate speeds at 10 over if possible. If that means going 77 in a 70 to stay with the flow of traffic in the right lane thats where I am at. The left lane is NOT a driving lane...it is a lane for getting around slower traffic. South Carolina has actually passed a law to that effect because driving the speed limit or less in the fast lane is more dangerous than doing 95 in a 75. Impeding the flow of traffic is dangerous. Speed limits ought to be like they are on some sections of German highways where there is no limit but if you cause a wreck you have committed a serious crime. Driving in the left lane and breaking down are also serious offenses...because both are dangerous.

Amen. My kids learned to drive in Houston traffic. They can pretty much drive anywhere now.

You sound like a left lane driver. I-75 and I-95 don’t frick around.

You will see cops in central florida near tourists. The have a "wolfpack" where one unit tags speeders from overpass ( a favorite used to be at Seaworld overpass). They would radio ahead to anywhere around 10-15 cop cars and start handing out tickets like chicklets. Hence the name - wolfpack. Not there very ofter=n but I saw one outside Tampa a couple of weeks ago.

If you aint running 90+ on I 95 then you are essentially going backwards.

Good for them. You think the dealerships will compensate you for driving like a grandpa?

Well, the people are older and don't have much time left so they gotta make it count.
