I think that's very common, I had the opposite side done a few years back and my only regret was not having done it sooner, golf and the gym were big on my mind approaching this, he said he could guarantee 98% of previous mobility and zero pain, I'm a believer, plus this guy is on the medical staff for TCU athletics, he gets a lot of reps and is used to getting them back in the game ASAP

It’s not the same. I don’t have the same range of motion I had before the injury. And honestly I think I expected to have the same, if not better mobility post-op - which wasn’t the case.
Make sure you shop around for the best ortho in your area.
