LOL, We did the same thing. My dad was always trying to work on systems to flood-proof the house. After the last flood he finally sealed the bricks and weep holes, mounted brackets in all the doorways, and fabricated some plexiglass/wood barriers that would fit into the brackets. But he never got a chance to test out the system - sold the house before it flooded again. I think someone on Benjamin did something similar.
My wife's initials are DC. She was friends with Nicole when they were young, before high school.

Yeah, we had a 2nd story loft. The tip of our roof was the only thing that stayed out of the water for Katrina. Nothing spared. We dug through mud finding china and shite my mom wanted. I left all my Vista trophies behind even though I probably could have saved them. But I was already long gone living in BR. Just took some pictures and let the bulldozers take my old stuff away. Loosing my HC yearbooks was the worse personally for me. We actually salvaged a bunch of our pictures though since the water did seep all the way into those picture albums.

Ashley lived on Patricia, 2 houses from the a Swim Club. Blonde hair, not too many freckles that I recall.

This conversation/thread is hilarious to me. The flow of it reminds me of my family.

Yeah, the last few pages are from dudes who grew up in the same hood, some literally a block from each other. shite, some on the same street.
A lot of us list all our shite from Katrina, so our memories are all we have left. Just reminiscing!

They used to have a teen club right by Raquetball South, called Grumpy's. Then it was called Club 17. Used to drink a 40oz then climb up the stairs drunk as frick.
