Good times.

This thread is proof that 10 minutes is all that is needed for parish people to connect the dots of mutual friends no matter what the age difference.

...and that is exactly what made da Parish so great. We're not talking about a small town of just a few thousand people - da Parish had 65,000 people pre-Katrina. Yet everyone knows everyone. People can talk shite all they want - if you didn't grow up there, you'll never understand it. 11 years ago I moved to a gated subdivision in Slidell. I didn't seek out the people in my neighborhood who were from St. Bernard. It just happened that all of the friendly neighbors were people who came from there.

Best thing is you can see them coming from a long way off due to the white trash contrails.

Too bad they're all moving to the Covington/Folsom area.

I know Johnny Papa really really well. I played ball and worked with Johnny for years. Were still in a fantasy football league together. I know Zimmer as well.

Rebel Raider here. Grew up on Charles Ct., behind St. Marks. Still have to stop at Tonys whenever my dad and I go fishing down there. It will never be the same as we are all remembering, but damn, we have some great stories!
