I was never offered to be a guard but I'm pretty sure I would not have done it. Like the guy says in the video - he has to live by the honor code for the rest of his life. One of the stipulations is that they can never drink alcohol, not one drop.

Only men of honor can do that BUT only men of honor can appreciate it. This is evidenced by the responders in this thread that are in support soldiers that do. I shows for those that they guard.
