I lived there for 5 years and worked in Kingsville. Not sure where you'll be staying, but there are nicer neighborhoods at the end of S Staples, which is ideal for commuting to Kingsville via Chapman Ranch. Most of those neighborhoods have a high density of non-locals; Navy/Marine pilots also commuting to Kingsville.

We had a branch down there and I would visit a couple times a year. Half the guys in the office would go fishing during lunch everyday.

I would usually go during baseball season and catch a Hooks game.

I visit every year. South corpus is the nice part. Crime isn’t too bad, and it’s certainly not because of the proximity to the border.

If the job is in rockport live there, or port Aransas, or Portland. Corpus Christi is the big city of the area. Which is good and bad

I'm looking to rent a month to month 1 bedroom apartment or 2 bedroom if that's all that's available. I'm only going to be there 3 months, but really don't want to stay in a hotel that long and pay out the arse for it.

I live there but I'm out of town working right now

I'll be in for labor day weekend though if you're looking for a place to catch the LSU game

How far are y’all from ocean drive? Those houses are fricking sweet. Would love to live in that area someday if I don’t just move to Beeville

Were you planning on staying in Corpus or in Kingsville

If the South side of Corpus would work out for you I may be able to help you out

Probably about 15 minutes to get to Ocean though

The LSU game is unfortunately on a Sunday night. Probably just going to watch it somewhere close enough to the hotel or condo I rent, and not get too rowdy lol. We start work at 5 or 6 a.m the next day. I already thought about this. Thanks for the invite for real though. I'll hit you up if I change my mind man.

Go to Port Aransas. There are some interesting bars there.

This this this

I spent many of nights in a bar with a shite load of hats hanging from the ceiling. Don’t remember the name of the bar but I remember the 2 red headed sisters that drank Tito’s with me all night long.

Damn that’s true. Forgot about that.

Wonder if that bar is still there. There were a bunch of bars all in one little area. All walking distance to each other.

I was staying in Ingleside for work one week and ventured over to PA. Glad I did.

Depends.. About how far of a drive is it to Bishop Texas from there? What you got and what's the price for rent? Remember it's only for roughly 3 months too.
