Maybe try wondering off the interstate occasionally.

Did that last time through Chatanooga. Not sure it saved any time.

Look on Google maps. Turn on traffic and construction. Now, tell me who the idiot is.
You're the fricking idiot.

The construction at 24/75 backs things up for miles in both directions.

If you were on 24 you were West of Chattanooga. If you were very far West you were in Dade County, GA.

Sounds like you didn't even know where the frick you were at.

It will take 10 years to build more lanes. That is how long it took to widen a road on my commute to work.

They did it in Greensboro, NC where I live. Took longer than 10 years. Now we're almost finished with belt lines around Greensboro and the one in Winston.

I40 in Greensboro went from 4 lanes to 10. 12 in some places. It sucked during construction, but it was worth it.

I24 in the middle of chatanooga was fine.

You seem weirdly emotional about this. Like I killed your dog. Shut the frick up.

Where we live in NE AL, Chattanooga is a bit closer for us than Huntsville, but we have stopped going to Chattanooga unless we absolutely have to. The traffic is almost always a disaster. Literally the best time to drive into Chattanooga from the west is during rush hour traffic in the morning. At least then it’s mostly people who know how to drive up and down those hills and around those curves.

Since you're in town would you like to shut me up?

I drive in that shite every single day. I was in it 1½ hours ago and, NO, it's not clear.

If you are coming in from west of town, you have no better options. You are hemmed in between Lookout Mountain and Raccoon Mountain/Tennessee River. When traffic is backed up, you can jump over on US Highway 11, but it’s at least as big a cluster as the interstate.

If you come up 59 you can jump off at Slygo Rd and avoid a lot of the mess. It brings you out in Tiftonia (Lookout Valley). Then you can go around the mountain on 41.

Oh my. I imagine your IQ is around 80. Do better. Move out of the single wide. I believe in you!

No need to respond.. you're a wee bit emotional.. like a child.

That is precisely the route that always seems to be a disaster if I-24 is a disaster. It’s always half a dozen of one or six of the other for me.

Just finished doing that commute over the past 7 months. Not fun.

The kind that doesn't care who's driving. I've driven this 1300 mile round trip many times over the last 30 years.

The i24-75 junction is top 10 worst interchanges in the country. Supposedly the construction to double the lanes will be done by next summer. I'm not holding my breath

Yep, same as a water hose moving as much water as a fire hose?

Firemen should just use water hoses.

Hope you’re through it now.

Ahh, thanks.

We're almost to Hickory now. Only a couple more hours.

Yeah, will be nice hopefully when they finish the roads down in Chattanooga.
