Long ago, this baw taught African-American history at a public school in BR.
After studying history under some very good LSU professors.
Some didn’t want to hear the truth. They preferred going on believing GWC invented peanut butter and the host of other fallacies fed to them by the media. But the truth is so much more nuanced and indicative of the true nature of man. The cream rises to the top and adopts the dominant paradigm. It isn’t racist. It isn’t colonialism. It’s man, recognizing the reality of the situation and adapting to the conditions of the present.
Been going on in every culture on every continent since man picked up a sharp stone and slew his fellow man.
The wise recognize the pattern and manipulate it. The fools are ground under the treads of inevitable history.

Can you i imagine if someone went and traced the family lines to people now and pointed out that their family comes from slave owners.
That shite would be comical

I have a friend in Denver who’s neighbor is changing his last name because of ties to slavery. Can you imaging how big of a pussy this guy is to do something like that?

What are “ties to slavery”? Some distant ancestor who practiced the order of the day? Go back far enough and cast a wide enough net and you can find ancestral sins as many as you like.
Finding guilt from things you haven’t done in order to virtue signal is supreme weakness. And to those they are trying to impress it only looks that much more pathetic. The weak are ground under the heels of the strong. History shows us that.

In this day and age? In this climate? Yes I can. Quite easily, in fact.

Yes a very distant ancestor.
