But it's not, really.

The truth is, that most people work in cities, and it's therefore easier to live either in said city or in a suburb of. Typically, those suburbs don't have the luxury of having houses spread out 1/4 mile away from each other.

I think it's great, that you think it's great to live that far away from others, but many people would say that it's sad that you don't have people in close proximity to you for you to befriend, communicate with, etc.

To each their own, both lifestyles have pros and cons...

True. That's why I CHOSE to not live a city. I'd rather drive an hour to work than live in a place where my neighbor can hear me cough. To each his own I guess
