I didn't get a single political call or text this year. I use a call blocker app that came with some identity theft protection thing. Sure, I bet real calls didn't get through sometimes, but probably worth it.

Let your voicemail fill up, so nobody can leave any more. It's almost 2025, VM died 10 years ago.
Unfortunately, not everyone knows this, or some people can't/won't text. I recently missed a couple of doctor contacts because I wasn't aware that my voicemail had filled up. I found out by looking in my online medical chart.

I don’t get spam calls. I think the key is to never answer them and also never decline them. Let them ring out fully and they might think it’s a dead end for them. If you decline the call early they know an active person is on the other side.

Anyone getting constant spam calls for "debt consolidation" referencing the number 1-877-200-0760? I've been waging war with these pieces of shite for the last couple of weeks. Just constant calls and voice messages--a dozen a day--all from spoofed numbers.

If Apple or Verizon wanted to fix it they would

We do. It’s an app called RoboKiller. I have it and it’s incredible
Most of the reviews seem to state that app doesn't work anymore. And it costs $130 a year?(!)
My subscription is 79.99 annual for Robokiller. It works great.
