I've had two of them lanced before. The lancing isn't the part that sucks. It's the repacking with gauze for the next week that is a bitch. Some of the most pain I've ever felt. Good luck, sir.

I can sit without pain right now. I just can't sit very well on couches, or beach chairs, or lay on my back much. Or do exercises like sit ups or bench press. It's more of a major nuisance than a complete liability. So I still debate if I should get it done or just live with it forever. Yours seemed completely necessary.

You don't want to just live with it. It will get worse and one day when you need to lance it, the lidocaine won't reach your nerves bc of the scar tissue in the area.
My last lance was so painful that I scheduled the surgery two days later.

Wtf is up with all of the posters on here having pilondal cysts? I had never even heard of one before this site.

I hate even telling this on an anonymous message board but the nastiest thing I have ever done was similar to this butt cyst yall are talking about.
It was about 7 years ago. I was with an ex gf. I'm not gonna explain why I was so close to her arse but I saw what looked to be a white spot on her bunghole. No head on it. It was just a tight white colored spot amongst the wrinkles of her butthole.
I squeezed it like a pimple and that nasty yellow shite poured out. Not sure if it was the smell of the puss or just from being around her doo-dooer. Guess it could've been her cooter but it smelled for sure.
I swear it would have filled up a teaspoon. It was a shite ton of it. It shot out all squiggly but thick. I don't know if it was old turds trapped in a little pore on her butthole or what. It was yellowish.
Well I ran into her about a year ago and had a little fling with her for awhile. Sure enough I had to check it and the fricker was back. Got more out of it but not like the first time.
Glad I got that off my chest.
TL;DR
Squeezed a zit on girls butthole and stanky cheese doodoo poured out.

I've seen and dealt with a lot of nasty procedures as an ER and ICU nurse. But the worst smell that I've ever endured was the draining and removal of a pilonidal cyst. That thing was full of hair and unmentionables. I think that I actually saw a couple of teeth.
The only time that I've ever vomited at work was during that procedure. I had to step out of the room. 16 years ago and I've never forgotten that experience.
The smell was awful. Just awful. Good luck.

Nah, I have never known anyone that had one of these and it's not like guys would be embarrassed to tell their friends about it.
There is an abnormally high amount of posters in this site with these cysts on their arse crack.
Maybe it's because of the climate in Southern LA and swamp/sweaty arse or something?

When I watched that video it was almost like I could smell it thru my phone.
