Yeah. I watch his press conferences almost every day and this region breakdown was a curveball for sure. He had made his decision and framed the data to support it as opposed to letting the data lead the way. He could play this game for months if he wants to. Just break it down further to parishes as there will ALWAYS be a parish with increasing cases. We met the criteria for Phase 1 days ago at the state level.

I would have rather him just come out and say "We're extending it because I say so and that's that".

I have first hand knowledge of at least one meeting where he told an executive that he didn’t care if a major project came to Louisiana or went to Texas. So, it went to Texas. He is Edwin Lite

Not just lite.

The political TWIN of Edwin Edwards.

He did, but since he's a pussy he said it like this:

"But I’m the only person charged by the Constitution to be the decision maker and weigh public health on one hand and the economy on the other and try to strike the right balance."

Bear in mind, the people he is fricking over the most aren’t they ones that voted for him, his voters are sitting on their porch waiting for their check from the gubberment like always.

That's the kicker. Orleans parish has the most to lose. It's entire economy is on the service and hospitality industries. Extending this further only makes this worse. The quant, characteristic bars and restaurants that make New Orleans unique may not be "dere no more" when all of this is said and done. Yet most of them voted this clown and the clown they elected mayor. What makes it worse is they'll continue to elect the same fricking clowns and wonder why shite doesn't get better.

Not completely sure, but I think it might correspond to hospital regions.
