If the rally at the statehouse is not for you, head on down to Columbus, GA next Saturday for some real fun.

Bring your air Jordan boots and plan for an exciting evening.

Republican Gov. Nikki Haley has issued a statement criticizing the rally.

"This is our state, and they are not welcome," Haley said in an email sent to USA TODAY Network.

She doesn't have any room to talk about this since she bowed down to national media and out of state entities like non south Carolina politicians, social media, and activists that drove into south Carolina to start shite.

And I say that as someone who really likes Nikki Haley and would vote for her.

Note to all that is counting, FWIW OP has 26 up votes and 4 down votes.

To be fair, I never know whether to up vote or down vote OP's like this one. Is an up vote saying "thank you, sir, for bringing this to my attention" or "I support the actions of those in the article"? I'm more concerned with the 11 down votes on the post calling Klan members dumb.

32 up and still only 4 down.

Like you, I don't know what those votes mean either. The OP only provided information. I would think only opinions would get up or down votes.

Don't know if anybody has pointed this out yet, but the New Black Panther party rallied at the same place today and their rally overlapped the time that the KKK was also there rallying. Nikki Haley, as expected, said nothing in reference to the New Black Panther party being there.

I was born and raised and still reside in this great state, but Haley has been a thorn in the side of residents here for some time. I don't like that the KKK or the New Black Panthers were present...especially seeing as how neither were even from South Carolina.

There was a live stream that one of our local stations broadcasted and unfortunately, there were skinheads present waving the Nazi flag. The KKK and the skinheads are only making things worse when making a case for the Confederate Flag representing our heritage and not hate and it makes me sick.

There were fights that broke out between the two parties and the KKK (who did not wear the typical white hoods and robes and instead had on uniforms without anything concealing their faces) was escorted, by police, off of the Statehouse grounds.

The whole fiasco, beginning with the horribly tragic shootings in Charleston, totally paints this state that I love so much in a terrible shade and it just disgusts me.

It would be a great opportunity to obliterate a whole slew of ignorant hate mongers.

Dumb is being way too kind. Imbeciles is a more descriptive term.

I'm willing to bet you that more than 75% of the Fergurson protestors have the same amount of hate for white people as these so called Klan members have for Blacks. The Klan is dead. All they have now if some dudes stuck in the 60s wearing sheets

Did you watch the ferguson protests...blacks, whites, hispanics, etc were marching and protesting TOGETHER. Holding hands, passing out drinks, showing support. The only bad part happened at night when the THUGS showed up. Day time you had multi racial/cultural protesters.

quote:

As far as you saying that the "governor is within in his rights to say they are not welcome". He can denounce the all he wants but can not stop them from coming. Once again. No one tried to stop the Fergurson protestors from showing up. Baltimore??? Nope. This is the same thing. Only difference one is claiming to be part of a symbolic hate group.

And the KKK was in Ferguson and STL metro..nobody told them to go home or said they weren't welcome. It was well known they were at Darrin Wilson rally..someone hacked their KKK site, got pics, and matched the pics up with some protesters in support of Wilson. The Wilson support page then said they don't want people that are racist at their rally.

Also was noted on a Missouri chapter's KKK page that they'd be in the area. They said they were protecting white businesses in Ferguson and claimed they were armed. But they wouldn't wear their clown uni's. They knew they'd get tore the frick up speaking that racist shite in STL. Too many automatic weapons in STL to pull that shite. Reason why police were armed to the teeth.

So for the record, Ferguson protesters were multiracial. KKK didn't get told to stay away....except by Wilson supporters because they didn't want to be associated with the KKK...no politicians told them to stay away..

Does it give us comfort to pile the black panther party and the NAACP into the same realm as the KKK.? Is that some way for us to "justify" or even lessen the carnage that the KKK has bestowed upon African Americans? Because it so does seem like that around these parts. It's such a weak minded and analytically amateur and shallow argument for any adult to make. They aren't even comparable.

No, the KKK is a hate group. The NAACP was founded to advance minorities in peacefulness, brotherhood, and civility. The black panther party is direct by product of racism, terrorism, and discrimination and oppression towards black people. How about recognizing our role in pushing people so far to the edge that groups like that formed as opposed to blaming the the bullied for putting a fight back up ?

I wonder why the KKK always jumps on that side (police, Wilson, Zimmerman).

Is there a reason for that?

The former members of the REAL/Original black panther party from Cali don't even like this NEW black panther party. They don't get along.

People should look up the history on the Original Black Panther party... They were formed because Oakland PD were abusing blacks, shooting blacks, etc..shite then carried on to L.A. Back in those days crime rate wasn't high among blacks, you didn't have as many gang members. The blacks in Cali just wasn't going to put up with what the blacks in the south did in terms of abuse, beatings, lynchings by the Police and Sheriff dept. So the ones in Cali formed a self defense unit. They did what ANYONE would do if racist Police were beating you, shooting your family, etc.

I guess people expect the blacks in Cali to bow down to the police and get beat and killed like the blacks in the South did. frick that.

Now the black panther party today are racist...that's why they don't get along with the old BPP. The old ones were just against Police Brutality...no matter if it was black or white cops.

Exactly. Here's a direct quote from the NEW Black Panthers Party:

quote:

On Sunday, a New Black Panther Party leader using the name “General Taco” said members of the New Black Panther Party will hunt down and kill white people, The Blaze reported Wednesday.

And here's the link to the complete article if you'd like to read it:

New Black Panther party calls for the killing of "whites".

Here's another quote from another article about them:

quote:

New Black Panther leader: "Kill all white babies by bombing nurseries."

And, again, here's the link to the article if you'd like to read it:

those yokles are just like the modern KKK

both are toothless and try to live off the popularity and perceived power of their groups of the past...both love tv cameras, too

during trayvon they'd pop up in front of every camera they could and talk about how whites are killing blacks at an epidemic rate

ignoring: (1) blacks kill their own at exponentially higher rates than whites killing blacks and (2) a hispanic killed a balck in the scenario they were piggybacking upon

it was glorious to watch the insanity unfold, though
