I'm in the McNeese/LaGrange area. Between the 2 campuses.

No issues in the garden district. Just constantly dodging city vehicles fixing the sewer systems downtown (which is important and a slight annoyance now for much better living down the road).

I live in south LC around Gauthier Rd and no issues
I have people off Ham Reid directly to the West to Nelson.
They have never mentioned any issues.

I've had power surges, brief losses of power, and now breakers tripping.
Is this all underground or on poles? If the lines are in the air it could be a tree that needs trimming back. If that’s the case it could possibly only effect a house or two and definitely cause the problems you’re describing.

Most people moved out of Lake Chuck to Beaumont or Lafayette

Don’t come to Welsh because the power routinely shuts off and on many times a month. I’ve read angry posts on the Welsh FB page of people having their appliances and TVs ruined

I've talked to 2 other homeowners on my street who are also having issues. Power lines are on poles that they just built (after having built new power poles 5 years ago after Laura - don't you just love paying taxes?)
Monday I'm calling the city/CPPJ because this can not continue. Entergy is horrible enough without additional issues (they want to blame my breaker box which was fine for years before these "upgrades").
