to give us an idea of what her style is, can you please give us an example of what she uses currently. Additionally, can you please let me know where you live so I can look at inventory at boutiques in your area.

TIA.

My wife learned that the best place to get handbags are thrift stores in nice areas.

Or if you have a Nordstrom's The Rack in your city, that is another good place.

We have a Nordstrom's Last Chance here. It's like a bargain basement and it's totally hit or miss but sometimes you can make a good score. Coach or MK bags or Kate Spade for $60. Coworker found a Burberry in perfect condition for $90 there.

It will be like a treasure hunt!

Seriously though...totally hit or miss. It's all their returns so you have to really look at everything. Bag could look perfect but inside a zipper is broken or there is a giant scuff mark on the other side.

I'm wanting a new handbag...I'll be going there a few times first to see if I get lucky. I still use the all leather, NO logos, gunmetal colored Coach bag I got there a few years ago for $70. Was in perfect condition(yes I still use my Coach bag, DGAF if it's "in" or not, I still like it).

may i suggest: look around here

i like that one a lot-- make note of the size of the bag and the size of the bags your wife usually carries-- want to keep it similar-- too small or too big, when your wife changes purses, can really throw a woman off.

Thanks! I have been on Barney's website since you originally recommended Givenchy. Those bags are definitely her style.

As to someone who asked where I was, I am in Birmingham. Shopping here, in my opinion, is not as plentiful or easy as it is in Phoenix, which we visit frequently and do most of our shopping.

We just got one of those out here. My gf has died and gone to heaven. I always tell her to find me some of those 500.00 silk underwear for like 40.00 bucks. Only the best for this arse

My contribution to the OT for today I am off until friday
